Maintenance of the watch
Metal band
The band of the watch comes into direct contact with the skin in the same manner as undergarments and gets dirty with sweat and dust.
If you keep using the band without cleaning, even a stainless band or gold-coating band may get rust.
If you keep using it further without cleaning, rust and dirt may come out with sweat when you get sweaty and they may stain the cuff of your cloth or cause irritation with the weak skin. Be sure to keep your watch clean at all times.

Stainless steel is an alloy of iron, chrome and nickel. It is strong against rust as chrome in it is combined with oxygen in the air and coats its surface against rust.
However, that does not mean stainless steel is completely free from rust.
Exposing to sweat or stain may break the coating and cause rust.
- Wipe the band with a soft, moisture-absorbing cloth when it got wet with sweat. Be sure to wash the band periodically using a soft brush and mild soap to keep it clean.
- When washing, cover the watch body with cling wrap or something similar not to make it wet and dry the watch well after washing.
- When the watch gets wet with sweat or gets dirty with foreign matter, wipe it off well and place it in a well-ventilated place. Do not put it into a closed container.
