Just as the motion of the heavenly bodies gave birth to the concept of time, so human innovation gave birth to timekeeping devices. But what if all the wonders of the universe could be contained in a single device? Thus was born the COSMOSIGN, a unique watch that shows the motion of the stars and the waxing and waning of the moon in realtime. It is the universe in microcosm.
COSMOSIGN
The Zodiac model displays the motion of 1,027 heavenly bodies and 166 galaxies and nebulae as seen from 35° N latitude. The star map, which is imprinted on the face of the watch using a high-precision,14-plate process, rotates to accurately reflect the retrograde motion of the stars and planets in the nighttime sky.
The Moon Phase display model is driven by a high-precision quartz movement. In addition to accurately displaying the phases of the moon, it shows the position of the sun and moon, and the time of sunrise and sunset.
