CITIZEN To Become Official Timepiece of
Disneyland Paris®, Hong Kong Disneyland® Resort and
Shanghai Disney® Resort

CITIZEN and The Walt Disney Company announced that CITIZEN will be the Official Timepiece of Disneyland Paris in Marne-la-Vallée, France, Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, on Lantau Island, Hong Kong, China, and Shanghai Disney Resort in Pudong New District, Shanghai, China.

This global expansion of the CITIZEN and Disney alliance follows a recent announcement in March 2018 where CITIZEN was previously named the Official Timepiece of Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California and Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.

With these new relationships, CITIZEN becomes a notable element in five of Disney’s international vacation destinations, and Disney becomes associated with a globally recognized name in precision timekeeping.

As previously announced, the CITIZEN logo will be displayed on the Main Street U.S.A. clocks in Magic Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Park at Disneyland Resort and in select attraction FASTPASS clocks located throughout Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort. With this global expansion, the CITIZEN logo will now also be displayed on select attraction FASTPASS clocks located throughout Disneyland Paris, on selected timepieces located throughout Hong Kong Disneyland and on selected clocks and attraction wait times boards at Shanghai Disney Resort. Additionally, CITIZEN will now also be featured as the presenting sponsor of the Times Guides that share times for daily events and entertainment throughout Disneyland Resort, Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Paris and Hong Kong Disneyland.

Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort, as previously announced, expect to carry CITIZEN timepieces featuring designs unique to Disney Parks. In addition, CITIZEN is The Official Timekeeper of runDisney race event weekends at Walt Disney World Resort, with race clocks bearing the CITIZEN logo at the beginning and end of the races, and is a sponsor of Disney Dreamers Academy, which helps exceptional young people to dream big.

As announced in March 2018, the promotional alliance also includes, for 2018, sponsorship of Marvel Minute and other digital content on that is in development at Marvel New Media’s Creative Space. This relationship also provides CITIZEN with worldwide music licensing opportunities from Disney Music Group. With headquarters based in Tokyo, CITIZEN is also pleased that it is a sponsor of the Disney On Classic concert series in Japan.
