New HAKUTO-R collaboration models
echoing the deepest black of the furthest reaches of outer space
Citizen Watch will be releasing three new limited-edition ATTESA models equipped with the latest technologies from CITIZEN. These three new models were created in collaboration our corporate partner, ispace, inc., as part of their HAKUTO-R commercial lunar exploration program.

ispace, founded in 2010, is publicly traded company focusing on lunar exploration and resource development. CITIZEN became a corporate sponsor of the program in 2019. Following the 2023 Mission 1, which obtained valuable data necessary for realizing a lunar landing, CITIZEN will be providing Super Titanium™*1 as a component of the landing legs in the upcoming Mission 2, which is scheduled for launch no earlier than December 2024.

The middle links of the bracelets on all three models are made of recrystallized titanium, a new material with unique crystal patterns on the surface that ensure that no two watches are the same. The mysterious patterns echo the endless black vastness of outer space and the monochromatic dial has three dimensional black crystal patterns accented by numerous small black components, creating a multi-layered structure combining varying shades of black. The city names on the sapphire bezel and the outer ring on the dial provide glittering silver accents, bringing to mind the image of a bright light shining in the darkness.
The CC4067-66E also provides incredible functionality – it is equipped with CITIZEN’s F950 movement, the ultimate movement for light-powered Eco-Drive satellite wave GPS watches*2. It is capable of receiving time signals in as little as 3 seconds – the fastest GPS satellite signal reception in the world*3 - and the hour and minute hands move rapidly to display the correct time. The AT8287-62E and CB0285-63E models, also inspired by the image of a bright light shining through the darkness, are Radio Controlled*4 Eco-Drive watches equipped with Direct Flight which allows easy adjustment of the time and date in 26 times zones with just a twist of the crown.
The HAKUTO-R logo engraved on the case backs makes these limited-edition models truly special timepieces.
