CITIZEN Series 8
New slim models featuring a globally trendy case size
CITIZEN is releasing one limited-edition and four new models under its CITIZEN Series 8 collection of mechanical watches that combine practicality and functionality with modern, sporty designs. These latest additions feature slim cases measuring under 40 mm.

New models equipped with the slim mechanical movement Cal.9051 join the collection, developed with on-trend design, size and fit. Despite their slim profile, the cases consist of five carefully polished components, and their sharp, bold design expresses the distinctive Series 8 concept. The dial’s central sector features a highly original pattern. It combines a stylised take on Tokyo’s night-time skyline with a check pattern, a much-loved Japanese motif with connotations of prosperity and success. With a focus on the form of the indices, the models sport a refined look that conveys an impression of elegance. The limited-edition model also sports a grey colour scheme accented with gold-coloured details, and is equipped with a dial made of forged carbon, a lightweight yet highly robust material also used in aircraft and high-performance sports cars.
The models are equipped with mechanical movements offering superior magnetic resistance that allows them, in most cases, to maintain timekeeping accuracy even when placed as close as 1 cm to electronic devices that emit magnetic fields, such as smartphones and tablets. Each watch achieves high daily accuracy of −10 to +20 seconds.
