Summer time
Automatic switching of summer time setting
This watch can change summer time/standard time indication automatically when it receives time signals including summer time signals.
When the automatic summer time switching function is activated, the time indicated is automatically switched to/from summer time depending on the summer time signals in all the time zone areas except for “UTC”.

Actual signal reception is executed only for the area set for time of the analog indication, so, actually, settings for all areas do not change at the same time.

In some areas, owing to the automatic summer time switching function, summer time setting switches synchronously even when they are not set as the area of the analog indication.

Checking the setting of the automatic summer time switching function
- Pull the crown out to position 1.
- Rotate the crown to set the mode hand to [RX-S].
- Pull the crown out to position 2.
- After finishing checking, push the crown in to position 0.
- Pull the crown out to position 1.
- Rotate the crown to set the mode hand to [TME] or [CAL].
- Push the crown in to position 0 to finish the procedure.
An area name and “(M)” appear alternately on the digital indication (L).

Turn the crown so that the mode hand will point to the center of the mode name securely.
The current setting of the automatic summer time switching function blinks on the digital indication (R).

Change the mode of the watch to [TME] or [CAL] following the steps below.
An area name and “(M)” appear alternately on the digital indication (L).
