Amazing iridescent blue dials
that evoke the sea's beauty
Changing constantly with the light, the blue evokes the
ever-changing beauty of the sea. FujiFilm structural colour
inks are used for the dials. The unprecedented vibrancy and
iridescence of the blue is the result of light bouncing off
microstructures within the ink itself, rather than of
conventional pigments.
The models are as eco-friendly as their appearance
suggests. The dials are made from recycled materials, while
the watches themselves are powered by Eco-Drive, CITIZEN's
proprietary technology that tells the time using clean
energy generated from light.

Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra has written a new song, “UNITE with BLUE,” for our UNITE with BLUE models.
Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra
We are Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra, and we were charged
with creating the music for this CITIZEN "UNITE with BLUE"
ad. In creating the music, we imagined a vast blue sea and
aimed to express a feeling of expansiveness. It is an
instrumental piece that we hope you will listen to while
imagining a sea and sky that stretch out as far as the eye
can see. We also put in a sound of a sea animal as kind of
an Easter Egg, so we hope you will pick up on that as well.

Since their debut in 1988, the Tokyo Ska Paradise
