Receiving the time signal

Receiving the time signal manually (On demand reception)

It takes up to 15 minutes to finish signal reception.

!

The signal station to be received is different depending on the area you set for the time of analog indication.
For details, see “Table of time zones and representative places”.

  1. Pull the crown out to position 1.
  2. An area name and “(M)” appear alternately on the digital indication (L).

  3. Rotate the crown to set the mode hand to [TME] or [CAL].
  4. !

    Turn the crown so that the mode hand will point to the center of the mode name securely.

  5. Push the crown in to position 0.
  6. Press and hold the lower right button A for 2 seconds or more until the second hand points “RX”.
  7. Confirmation tone is emitted, the second hand points to “RX” and signal reception starts.
    The power reserve indication hand points the target signal station.

    !

    “RX” and “RDY” appear on the digital indication and, after signal reception starts, “RC” and “RUN” appear one after the other.

  8. Put the watch in the place with good conditions for time signal reception.
  9. !

    Do not move the watch as far as possible during signal reception.


    After the reception finished, the reception result of this time is indicated and the watch returns to normal indication.

    “H”, “M” and “L” indicate condition of reception environment and are not related to reception performance of the watch.

This operation can also be execute when the mode of the watch is [RX-S].

To cancel signal reception

Pressing and holding the lower right button A for 2 seconds or more during signal reception cancels signal reception and the watch returns to normal indication.
