About signal reception

Changing the automatic reception setting

  1. Pull the crown out to position 1.
  2. An area name and “(M)” appear alternately on the digital indication (L).

  3. Rotate the crown to set the mode hand to [RX-S].
  4. !

    Turn the crown so that the mode hand will point to the center of the mode name securely.

  5. Pull the crown out to position 2.
  6. The current setting of the automatic summer time switching function blinks on the digital indication (R).

  7. Press and release the upper right button B.
  8. The current automatic reception setting blinks on the digital indication (R).

    !

    Each time you press the upper right button B, indication switches between the setting of the automatic summer time switching function and that of automatic reception alternately.

  9. Press and release the lower right button A to change the automatic reception setting.
  10. Indication on the digital indication (R)Automatic reception
    AUT (AUTO) The time of the third automatic reception is kept 4:00 AM.
    MAN (MANUAL) The time of the third automatic reception is changed.
    OFF Automatic reception is fully deactivated.

    Each time you press the lower right button A, the automatic reception setting changes as follows.
    MAN -> OFF -> AUT -> (back to the top)

    !

    “Hour” of the reception time start blinking when you choose “MAN”.
    Rotate the crown to choose the time.
    You cannot choose 2:00 AM and 3:00 AM.

  11. After finishing setting, push the crown in to position 0.
  12. !

    Change the mode of the watch to [TME] or [CAL] following the steps below.

  13. Pull the crown out to position 1.
  14. An area name and “(M)” appear alternately on the digital indication (L).

  15. Rotate the crown to set the mode hand to [TME] or [CAL].
  16. !

    Turn the crown so that the mode hand will point to the center of the mode name securely.

  17. Push the crown in to position 0 to finish the procedure.
