W770 Riiiver

Connection

I just bought the watch and I cannot connect it with the smartphone./I cannot see how to connect the watch with the smartphone.

You must install the dedicated app “CITIZEN Eco-Drive W770” on your smartphone and start the app to make pairing (registration) between the phone and the watch to connect them.

1. Check the power reserve of the watch.

Charge the watch until level 2 when the power reserve level is “1” or lower.

!

You cannot execute operation for registration when the power reserve level of the watch is “0”.

  1. Pull the crown out to position 1.

    2. The second hand points to 30 seconds and stops.

  2. Rotate the crown to change the mode to [TME].
  3. Push the crown in to position 0.
  4. Press the lower right button A repeatedly to make the function hand indicate power reserve.

2. Install the dedicated app on your smartphone.

  1. Download the dedicated app “CITIZEN Eco-Drive W770” at an app site and install it.
  2. Turn on Bluetooth on your smartphone.

3. Register

  1. Turn on Bluetooth on your smartphone.
  2. Start up the dedicated app on the smartphone.

    3. !

    Keep the screen of the app shown.

    !

    Agree when a dialog appears to request your permission to use Bluetooth connection.

  3. Press and release the upper right button B.

    4. The second hand points “ACT” (40-second position) and registration starts.

  4. Check whether “Connected” is displayed on the screen of the app.

    5. Registration is finished if “Connected” is shown.
    The watch and the smartphone are connected as registration is finished.
    The function hand of the watch points “ON” of connection status and the second hand returns to normal movement.

    It may take about 20 - 30 seconds to finish registration.
