Problems with satellite signal reception
Reception is unsuccessful.
Below are possible causes. Try remedies from the top to the bottom.
| Cause | Remedies |
|---|---|
| The mode is not [TME] or [UTC]. | Change the mode to [TME] or [UTC]. |
| The second hand moves every two-second. | Charge the watch. |
| The second hand does not point [RX-TME] or [RX-GPS]. | Press and hold the button until the second hand points [RX-TME] or [RX-GPS] (about 2 seconds).
Just after pressing the button, the second hand indicates the current setting and points [RX-TME] or [RX-GPS] after that. If not, check and correct the reference position. |
| Place is not good for reception. | Avoiding places where the satellite signal may be obstructed and objects which emit noise, face the dial towards the sky and start reception. |
| The place is good but the watch is worn on your wrist. | Remove the watch from your wrist and try again. |
