Sustainable materials are the future

Making products more eco-friendly is one key to a better future. As well as equipping our watches with Eco-Drive, we consciously select eco-friendly materials that contribute to a more sustainable world. That’s particularly true for CITIZEN L, our flagship sustainable watch brand.

Examples of our efforts in this area include watch dials made of recycled materials, knitted watch straps made from upcycled pet bottles, and bands that use apple skins and other fruit-processing byproducts.

We are serious about reducing environmental impacts. That’s why we choose natural, sustainable materials and recycled materials for the products we make. And we will keep doing so, until our stance is accepted as the new mainstream thinking.

We are doing what we can. Right now. One step at a time.
