This model has an indigo dial made of Tosa washi paper hand-dyed using the traditional Japanese method. Every “Japan Blue” Washi paper dial is hand-dyed at an integrated indigo workshop in Tokushima prefecture that does everything from growing the indigo plants to dyeing products.

A platinum foil design floats gracefully above the Japanese Washi paper dial like a soaring eagle with its wings spread against the sky. Washi and maki-e, the epitome of Japanese elegance, come together to impart a glittering nobility.

Fine lines radiating from the centre of the silver dial in a sunburst pattern give the watch character, authority and style. The beautiful mirror finishes and the sense of weightiness express stainless steel’s unique appeal as a material and endow this timepiece with real presence.
