CITIZEN and the mechanical watch
CITIZEN released its first-ever watch, a mechanical pocket watch, in 1924. We have been pursuing accuracy and aesthetics ever since, driven by a determination to always make something better for our customers. The story of CITIZEN mechanical watches is the story of a 100-year-long obsession with greater accuracy and elegance. The Caliber 0200/0210 is a timeless encapsulation of this passion of ours.

NC1000-51E
Caliber 0210 black dial model featuring date function and water resistant to 10 ATM. Like the Caliber 0200, the dial has an electroformed sand-ripple pattern whose variegated surface creates a delightfully subtle interplay of ever-changing colours.
NC1001-58A
Caliber 0210 white dial model featuring date function and water resistant to 10 ATM. The electroforming process is used on the dial to evoke a billowing expanse of white cloud in a direction quotation from nature.
NC0207-07A
Limited edition distinguished by its strikingly pure white dial. The strap is made of Himeji Kurozan leather, often referred to as the “black diamond of leather.”

Black dial with sand-rippled pattern created by electroforming. The dial’s variegated surface produces a delightfully subtle interplay of shadows.

The eagle symbolises The CITIZEN’s twin commitments to “looking ahead and pursuing the ideal” and to “becoming an integral part of users’ lives.” The mark is discreetly engraved on the dial and crown of some models.
